The morning of 1st December 2025 marked a defining moment for the GAH ecosystem as members of the press, our distinguished board, strategic partners, and key industry representatives gathered for the official press conference of the 13th GAH Awards & Business Summit. What unfolded was far more than a media briefing — it was the ceremonial unveiling of a continental agenda, a reaffirmation of our long-standing commitment to innovation, inclusion, and sustainable progress across Africa.

From its inception, the GAH Awards has been more than an event; it has evolved into a movement, an institutional platform where influence converges with purpose. This year’s theme, Africa Reimagined: Innovation, Inclusion & Sustainable Growth, challenges the continent to think beyond conventional boundaries and engage boldly with the future. It invites leaders, policymakers, entrepreneurs, and creators to redefine what is possible and to situate Africa at the centre of global transformation.

Over the past twelve editions, the GAH platform has grown into a respected Pan-African institution — one that consistently celebrates excellence while amplifying the voices shaping Africa’s socio-economic and developmental narrative. With thousands of changemakers honoured and entire industries strengthened through our advocacy for structure, empowerment, and visionary leadership, the 13th edition stands as both a continuation of our legacy and an elevation of our continental impact.

Therefore, the press conference served as an essential moment of articulation — an opportunity to outline the strategic intent of this edition, highlight the policy, economic, and developmental relevance of the summit, and present the opportunities available to corporate brands, institutions, governments, and development partners. It was, in many ways, the prologue to the grand convening slated for Friday, 12th December 2025 at Eko Hotels & Suites

As is tradition, this year’s summit will host an extraordinary assembly of leaders whose influence transcends their sectors.
